Here’s What to Share with Your Vaccine-Hesitant Family and Friends

There’s a lot of misinformation out there. Here’s what leading scientists have to say

We tend to hang around with people who think like we do, so most of my friends and family share my pro-vaccine point of view.

But in real life and on social media, I come across people who don’t feel comfortable getting a COVID-19 vaccine:

  • They don’t believe the vaccines are safe
  • They don’t think they could have been developed so quickly without cutting corners
  • They don’t trust new technology

I was lucky enough to be part of an important podcast that addresses vaccine hesitancy. In this episode, an experienced healthcare reporter explains how he didn’t believe vaccines could be developed so quickly. But he dug into the science, and what he learned changed his mind.

And two top researchers, Kizzmekia Corbett, Ph.D., and Barney Graham, M.D., Ph.D., explain how the vaccines could be developed so quickly and how we can trust they are safe.

Please share this important information with your vaccine-hesitant family and friends and help us move toward the end of this pandemic.

And if you’re already vaccinated, just skip ahead to 28:13 where you can hear Robin Roberts credit me as the writer :)
